Amber color with a thick head with great retention and leaving strong laces.
Mild aroma with notes of grapefruit, mild pine, caramel and bread.
Flavor with notes of lots of caramels, grapefruit, some pine, tea leaves, spices, toasted malts and yeast. Dry and bitter aftertaste.
Medium to full body with appropriate carbonation. Stick feeling. Alcohol of 8% is mostly disguised in its heavy malt base.
Overly sweet DIPA with a traditional recipe. I felt this a bit cloying; well it was the last in the queue which it doesn't help.
