Nelson, Motueka, and Vic Secret? Yes please! Pours a clean but slightly opaque light yellow with a thin white head with minimal lacing. Smells of melon, citrus, and tropical juices, and just a hint of that white wine-like must. Flavor follows, but slightly subdued and a sweet malty bread is pretty present. Feel is smooth and soft, but finishes dry. Overall, this is a great western take on an NE pale ale, but would have loved to see that Nelson shine a bit more. Cheers!
