Kind of like the Giants’ three World Series Championships in 5 years, this one is surprising (though I don’t know why). Yeah, Docent is definitely the Baby Giraffe of breweries. It’s pretty damn good, but because it plays in a big ball park (against other quality OC breweries) it doesn’t really get the recognition that it deserves (but swing with the heavy hitters Docent can).
And what we have here in Peel Top is quality. Damn thing reminds me S if it was Mirror Pound’s Granddad. At 6%, a nice level of malt meet a beautiful floral bouquet that I’m sure if you gave it to your baby mama, you are sure to get laid tonight!
You heard it here first: Docent is better than buying your BM roses.
