Pours a hazy peach coloration with a medium, fizzy head. Smell is quite bright and hoppy, dominated by tropical mango note with light notes of citrus and a hint of cat piss. Taste follows the nose, with a quite hoppy and juicy mango flavour complemented nicely by light, zesty citrus notes of grapefruit and tangerine. Very little malt presence detectable. Finishes with a light bitterness and medium hop burn. Soft mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
They call this a milkshake IPA, but it really seems more like your typical NEIPA with its juicy tropical notes and light/medium bitterness. The lactose is there, giving a very slightly tart note to this, but really not *that* noticeable. Also, while the mouthfeel is nice, I would expect more from a true milkshake IPA. This really is nothing but a NEIPA, but a pretty nice one.
