Firkin pour in a shaker pint, the beer is jet black and oil thick, with a low, clingy, tan head. Aromas of bittersweet chocolate, subtle cream, bitter roasted coffee, and roasted/toasted notes. Flavors are bittersweet chocolate forward, with cream and coffee highlights. Smooth and balanced, on a robust, full body. The aftertaste is all chocolate, with a semisweet linger right into the slick, smooth finish. Good beer.
