Well this is the lesser of the 2 evils from this brewery previously sampled. That is not saying much.
Medium amber brown with nice clarity and a smallish bone colored head that actually lasts for more that 30 secinds.
Aroma is toasty caramel, green apple, toasted brown bread, and some lightly spicey, earthy hops.
Flavor is similar, but thrown off by a slightly metallic tartness in the finish. Nice malt notes, but the hops are too bitter and metallic.
Body is avarage at best. Drinkability ditto.

Seasonal selection from Liberty Steakhouse and Brewery. Poured a nice dark amber color with minimal head (usually typical of Liberty beers). Spicy hops with nutty malt in the aroma. Peppery. Bit sour on the taste but the hops and malt are nicely balanced and hide the sourness for most of the time. Average mouthfeel; a bit thin bodied. Quite quaffable.
