Came a clear russet color with a thick khaki colored head atop that settled slowly.Some brown sugar-like sweetness and a little earth in the nose.Starts out with some caramel sweetness on the palate with a decent shot of spicy hops in the finish,a hard toffee base throughout .No frills but not a bad rendition of an altbier.
