It's really nice to see the guys at Liberty making better and more complex beer styles.Poured into a standard pint wich took away from the looks of the beer a little, the color was deep orange tinged medium brown with a thinner off white head atop.Toasty oak comes thru nicely in the nose along with some phenolic spice and a whiff of slightly medicinal hops.Flavors of brown sugar and yeasty phenols over top of toasted buttery oak and those medicinal hops. This was pretty good and some complexity, nice job on this one.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
