Located in a tucked away industrial park outside of town. Upon entry you are bombarded floor to wall with merch shelves selling everything. To the left as you walk past the merch there are two long benches with everyone facing me (actually they are all facing the TV that is right next to the front door). So when someone walks in all eyes are on them, or at least it seems that way, strange vibe. TV sound is off and you can hardly make out music from the stereo speakers. The place is almost totally quite with everyone trying to not be heard, if they would just turn the music up one notch it would have broken the awkward silence of this place. 2 college aged kids are working the bar, no acknowledgement of my presence. Lady bartender is the only one in a room of over 20 people that you can hear, she keeps laughing at everything and being typically childish as people cash out at the register. I waited about 10 minutes before a local at the bar told her I was where since she had no clue of here surroundings, Strange once again. A third employee sat down right next to me and for the longest time was literally facing me looking over my head at the damn TV and never saying anything, yet more strangeness. This place is supposed to have a Diving theme but I’d never know except for the plastic dive mask next to the cash register. No dive flags anywhere or water oriented graphics. The layout is a boxy L-shaped room with open brewery in back with seating and bar off to the side facing the front seating room. I like how the brewing section is part of the tasting room and you can get up and close to the equipment.

Now on to the beer: 2 core beers and 9 seasonals. 3 were no longer available. ok selection with lots of German styles. The IPA’s were really good. All the beers were overpriced though, $6 cores and $7-$8 seasonals. No high ABV nor heavy beers like Stouts & Porters. The flights are over $10 for 4 and they have the nerve to charge $2.50+ for a taster, really, for a sample! The 2 flights I sampled were above average and I was very impressed, but that’s it. Everything else was OFF and STRANGE. I think this place is new so I sure hope they can somehow change the vibe in this place because it was the most awkward of any brewery I’ve ever walking into. Also it seems they are all about the $ money $. They are actually selling $5 stickers that don’t even have the brewery name or town them. Why don’t these new breweries just give stickers out free so more people can find out about their place, its frigen free advertising for god sakes!
