Collaboration with Kills Boro Brewing Company
Across the Narrows is our citrus-forward collaboration with Staten Island's, Kills Boro Brewing Company. This beer, brewed with lactose, leads with lime zest, offering melon and slight herbal notes, complemented by a light, pilsner malt backbone.

A: The beer is very hazy pale whitish yellow in color. It poured with a finger high white head that died down, consistently leaving a short head covering the surface and thick lacing running down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of grapefruit pith and zested lime are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, having somewhat stronger flavors of lime zest to go along with the grapefruit pith. There also are some hints of honeydew melon in the middle of the taste, but the grapefruit lingers into the finish. No bitterness is present.
M: It feels medium-bodied, a bit crisp and slightly smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer isn't nearly as juicy compared to other New England IPAs, but it does manage to keep away all of the bitterness from the taste in this citrusy hop bomb. It also does a good job at hiding any traces of alcohol, making it quite drinkable.

Canned 4/25/19
Light yellow, opaque body. White head, minimal lacing. Tons of melon on the nose, with a little citrus. Smells what I feel like a canteloupe Jolly Rancher would taste like if that was a flavor. Taste is similar, a lot of melon, with resiny hop bitterness only at the end and dissipating quickly. Medium bodied, with heavy carbonation.
