On tap at brewery:
Very dark brown with a medium creamy light beige collar. Wisps of bubbles grace the surface.
Nose is coffee more than cola, but a little of each. Roasted malt with a lightly sweet note.
Light bodied, the carbonation hits and runs, leaving a lightly licorice spice to carry the feel.
Cola more than coffee in the taste, a reversal and bear fall from the nose. Light roasted bitterness countered by the lactose.
This is listed as an oatmeal stout, but that aspect is escaping me. I am missing some of the roasted malt notes, and this has some export or Baltic porter qualities to it.
