On tap at brewery:
Pale, burnished brass body with a light haze. Decent lacing for a modest soapy foam of a head.
Nose is a grounded citrus pith with a bit of floral leaning herbal hop notes. There is a husky malt influence that seems to push the herbal side. Taste doesn’t really add or detract much from what the nose indicates.
It’s a solid Citra-hop session that really reminds me of moderate IPAs of old more than a watery session that people worry about. The firm bitterness isn’t horribly dry, which adds a nice balance.
