Poured a light amber color. Smelled of hops, plenty of it for a Pale. Apparently, the brewmaster hops up his Pale to avoid an IPA batch and tries to get the best of both worlds. I dont agree with but who cares what i think because it was pretty damn tasty. The ABV is up there for a Pale and man is it hoppy..best brew there for sure.

This was on tap poured in a pint glass. Color was a dark amber color, what you would typically see for a pale ale. The smell was a very faint malty smell, not really any scent at all.
The taste was a mild nutty malty taste with very little hops. There was also a lemon flavor, not sure if this was intended or not, could have been old. The mouthfeel was ok, a little thin and not as cold as I like.
Over all a run of the mill english pale ale. I will probably give it another time next time I'm in Morro Bay.
