Copenhagen 8/8 2021. 47,3 cl can from Ølkassen web-shop. Drawing of a skeletal, two-headed, predatory rodent gobbling hop cones on the can.
Pours opaque, hazy, golden yellow with a mid-sized, stable white head. Settles as thin layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of tropical fruit mingling with lighter citric notes. Sweet mango, peach and passion fruit. Grapefruit and lime.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a light sweet undertone. A bit sharp. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Pretty light for a DIPA - but entirely enjoyable. Glad the two-headed rodent did not gobble up all the hops.
