Rooted in the history of Köln (Cologne), Germany, Kölsch is an old-world beer style known for its subtly understated flavors of malt and fruit. We enhance this delicate-yet-delicious flavor profile with floral hop nobility and a distinct San Francisco sourdough character to create an homage to the traditional Kölsch beer with a modern twist.

Incredibly, absurdly oily for a beer in a style that's this light. Coats the roof of your mouth and your tongue. But at least it is coating it with a good flavor.

Bright golden straw color with a bright white cloudy head that dissipates quickly (although some of that might be due to my less than perfect glass cleanliness)
Nose is lightly floral and bready with a pleasant crispness to it that makes it all work well
Taste follows with a light malty flavor and somewhat crusty breadiness to it. not bombastic by any means but plenty flavorful
Mouthfeel is excellent, light and crisp, super easy to drink
This is an excellent summer drinker. Crisp and flavorful, light and bright, really pleasant.
