Chocolatey, creamy, roasty, caramely–everything you could want in a dark offering. To take this smooth operator to the next level, we aged it in bourbon barrels and picked up some additional complexity. The bright acidic mouthfeel of the original porter has transformed into soft milk chocolate, raisins, and toffee. While most barrel aged offerings boast ABVs above 10%, Seismosaurus is ironically very mild and gentile at 7.0%. You know, like Little Foot on the way to the Great Valley. Yeah. I went there.
