One finger of frothy white head over a brew that is cloudy yellow to a very light golden. Bready malts, a bit of honey, and some yeast on the nose. Tastes of cooked corn and more bready maltiness. The mouthfeel is really watery, especially with terribly low carbonation. Okay for a hot summer day, and one of the better adjuncts I've had...but overall there's really not a whole lot going on with this brew.

Mildly hazed deep gold to light amber colored beer, not much head.
Scent is woody and very yeasty with a tea aroma.
Taste starts out bready with a bit of citrus zing to it. Tea after taste kicks in after a while. Not very complex.
Mouthfeel is OK.
Not much here really just a mild Lager with a bready streak to it. Nothing Special at all.

The first bottle of this I had was room temperature, and I was about to write it off. Now served at 45º in a stange cylinder, it really has opened up in the German-inspired tradition of Helles or Kolsch.
Stark white foam has a peculiar layered strata as it builds up to the glass' edge. The surface has a creamy texture. Super pale golden color. Puffy ring of lace adheres itself around the narrow rim of the glass.
Aroma is slightly sweet, dusty with candi sugar, sourdough bread, and a light papery smell like bank envelopes sans cash...
Strong flavor of Munich and Pale malt, with a very light hint of hop bitterness in the background. Bready biscuit with melted butter. Slightly fuller body than American Lagers, again in line with Germanic styles. Easily drank two, I recommend using a stange glass or filling a liter mug with this stuff.
Didn't think this would be any good, but it's up there with Spaten, BBK, Hacker-Pschorr Münchner Hell, and other clean German lagers.

Poured a light golden color with a solid one finger head that stayed for a bit. Medium amount of lacing in my chilled glass.
Nice crisp hop aroma and a fair amount of malt too.
A good clean taste with hops coming to the fore.
Felt light and active, good amount of carbonation but not too much.
I hadn't tried this beer before but saw it while shopping at Lee's on Sunset in Henderson. It was on sale for $2.99 a six pack so I figured what the heck, for that price it's worth a gamble. Turns out it was quite a bargain. I'll probably go back and pick up a couple more 6ers while they last. Very nice beer and easy to drink.

Overall an excellent lager. Definite malt character in aroma along with some noble hops. Golden color, very clear with a medium head that stays a long time. Flavor is dominated by malt but had a definite hop bitterness. Finishes dry. Easy to drink especially on a hot day.

Light golden beer topped by white head that lasted fairly long. Some sparse lacing stuck around. Fresh malty, grassy aroma, malt based beer with slight hopping. Helles style according to the label. Drinkable and probably a good hot weather option. Ourchased at Trader Joe's for a reasonable price 4.99 for a six.

wow! If seen seen this beer around town a few times but hadn't really been too intrested due to the boring label and the lame name name "Lincoln Lager" This is an ourstanding beer. It says on the label it's a Munich Helles so I don't know why it's listed inder Macro. Can someone change this? Anyways.... I thought the beer tasted very Belgium....as in there was some sugar added and the carbonation was on the same scale as Duval...foam sticking to the glass in clumps for an hour after the pour.... And all this at 4.7 abv Hopefully this review will convince a few to try to try this beer... A really interesting mix between German and Beligium stlyes....
and damn tasty and smooth too..

The beer after its departure from the 12-ounce brown bottle appears a somewhat muzzy gold with a prodigious creamy white head, as it slowly fades away the lace from a tight sealing sheet upon the glass. Archetypal lager malt nose that is crisp and clean, start is lightly sweet with a nice malt presence, the top fair to middling in its feel to the palate. Finish is spiteful in its acidity, the hops apropos to the style, dry aftertaste, a drinkable beer at any rate.

Medium gold color. Medium head. Aroma is lightly malty and slightly hoppy. A medium bodied, very mellow lager. It fairly malty and hoppy for a lager, and there is some fruitiness as well. It most definitely a lager, but it has none of the bad qualities of a lager. Very smooth taste. Light and refreshing. Would be an excellent hot summer day beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
