Poured from a bottle into a Hefe glass.

A - Pours an orangish color with a fluffy head that fizzes out rather quickly. Cloudy in appearance.

S - Banana as one would expect, but with an unpleasant sweet spice kick that I'm having a hard time describing. Imagine maple syrup with a bit of clove. It's really odd.

T - Not much going on here. A slight fruity banana tastes starts things off and leads to some roasted malts. Finishes off sweet again. This (to me) seems like a Hefe that tried to be traditional, but missed. by a lot.

M - Little carbonation and very, very thin. Unpleasant aftertaste too.

D - Meh.

this poured out a murky orange/brown. decent head but the body looked pretty bad. smells a touch citrusy...boring and bland. tastes...bland as well. a touch grainy? light, off...just shitty. tastes like a crappy beer, no real character anywhere. a bit filling. i dont have much to say. it sucks. im tired of brewers writing about bavarian this and bavarian that on the labels, calling these beers hefeweizens that follow traditional old school brewing methods yadda yadda and than filling the bottles with american style wheat beer (this being a sub parr one).

Poured into a German Hefe glass color is a completely clouded orange brown.

Smell is spiced wheat mostly ginger, where is the banana and clo0ves or bubblegum?

Taste is mildly spicy with faint bubblegum but the flavors are all wrong for either a Hefe weizen or and American wheat. Fair bitterness in the finish. Flavor isn't really there just a vague spiciness and a bit of bitterness.

Mouthfeel is OK.

Drinkability? No way this one really sucks, probably going to pour it out.

Poured from 22 oz. bottle to pint glass. No "best buy" date on bottle. Pours a hazy, golden orange color, pretty standard heff color. Strong banana smell, much stronger than other heff's. So far the beer is ok but then I took a sip and its all downhill from here. Taste is sweet, thats about it, just sweet. Pretty strong, bitter aftertaste, ok mouthfeel but really doesnt want me to go back for more. Really cant describe the taste, if your interested in heff's though this beer isnt for you. Just not a good heff.
