Thanks to Chris and Kyoko for opening this one.
Pours a cloudy orange/amber, super overcarbonated, massive off white head, lots of lacing, solid layer. Smell is citrus, floral, some caramel, bread, pretty nice aroma, grapefruit, quite hoppy. Taste is bread and spices, floral, grapefruit, tea, slightly medicinal, bitter finish, rough due to carbonation. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, high carbonation, prickly. Not too bad but overcarbonation definitely hurts it.

A - Lightly hazy orange amber brew, small head, little flecks of lacing.
S - Weak light malt, floral and grassy hops.
T - Initially there is a bit of a grassy/floral hop presence which shifts into a pleasant bitterness with a bit of a biscuity finish.
M - A bit harsh from carbonation. Thin, pretty refreshing.
D - Not bad. It is nice IPA, nothing spectacular. I would not mind having again - now the rest of this is going in my chili!

Bottled sample purchased in Las Vegas. Orange in colour with a bit of haze, and strong carbonation. Aromas of orange peel, vanilla, a bit of spicy hops, and plastic. The flavor profile consists of grainy pale malt, a bit of caramel, hay, and grassy hops, and melted plastic. Medium bodied. Theyve got the hops and the malt balanced out well, but where is that melted plastic note coming from???

22 Oz Bottle with a green label with an orange tiger on it.
Pour this beer CAREFULLY! This produces a heroic level of head. Pours a clear orange colored ale the color I have taken to calling "IPA Orange."
Smell is sweet and very malty for an IPA. Once you get past the sweetness this is quite spicy smelling coriander and cinnamon.
Taste is malty and spicy with a taste of oranges to this at the beginning. A strange tasting IPA, this is more like a Belgian ale with loads of hops instead. Malt flavor is distinctly honey like. Good bitterness in the after taste but I don't know if I really like this.
Mouthfeel is OK.
Truly this is a weird beer I don't know if I will finish this bottle or not. Tastes like a Belgian Strong Pale with IPA hops. I can't really recommend this beer.

08/29/05- Purchased at a random supermarket in Reno, NV.
Presentation- 22oz bottle with no dating. Poured into my 24oz glass mug.
Appearance- Amber/copper colored. Maybe a slight bit hazy after the pour (the beer, not me). Good 3/4 inch head and average lace.
Smell- High bitter and sugary scented hops. Maybe some alcohol scents as well.
Taste- At first this was a strange IPA. It just tasted like extreme bitter hops. But the hops didn't have any flavor. No fruit, no pine, no anything. Just bitter. As it warmed up though it tasted more and more sugary and fruity. Hardly any malt in this brew. Fairly unbalanced.
Mouthfeel- A tad overcarbonated.
Drinkability- A hop bomb best drank after 30 minutes out of the fridge. If you don't mind lack of malt, try one of these. I don't think this is the same beer as the "Expedition IPA". The bottle just says plain old India Pale Ale with a Tiger on the label.
