On tap at Beermann's Big Beers 10th Anniversary

A - Poured copper, with 2 fingers off-white head. Nice lacing.

S/T - Toffee, caramel, grapefruit, and flowers. Mmm, grapefruit.

M - Full bodied, well-nalanced, but slightly dry. No alc feel, which is good.

D - Good job.

I have had this beer several times in my home draft system (3 1/2 barrels). This is an agressive offering from Beermanns.

A- This beer pours and looks like a good ipa, it pour with a very good head on it, fluffy and slow ti disapate, so far so good.

S- Its hoppy, very hoppy, but is does not give you that floral aroma of the top DIPA like pliny would, it seems on the not complex side, just over the top.

T- I think it is pretty good as i am an avid DIPA drinker but everone else has the same a opinion, this is way to bitter and yes the bitterness is off the charts, it also finishes extremely dry like a champange.

M- this is your pretty standard M, which is interesting because they got the abv way up there and kept it from being overly sweet and maltly.

D- OK for the abv, these lasted longer than my usual kegs but not bad.

Overall a pretty good offering here locally which is nice, the staff over there is great and always takes care of the customer. A little refining of the hop bill and this would be better.
