Clear golden color with a ton of white foam that clings to the glass. Highly carbonated, with streams of bubbles rising constantly. Nice malt background and undertones of a zesty blend of citrus fruit including orange, lemon, and lime. Fairly bitter. The hops are piney, and (at least to my palate) the taste leans overly in a hemp direction that detracts from the experience. Medium to light body. Overall I like west coast IPAs and this one was fine by me.

There are several banners that extol the winning tradition of this beer: several gold medals at various festivals. Some wide streaks show up after each sip.
Gold color with a constant upward cascade of minute bubbles. Modest head but it sticks around throughout the tasting.
The smell is mostly weedy with a strong pale malt base in the background.
Spritzy, with a neutral body. There’s a light berry sweetness but the hop comes in quickly and overwhelms the malt. The hop is similar to black pepper without complexity. Decent length to the aftertaste.

Thanks to RyanMcFly1985 for this 12 oz. extra, consumed after another Twins win as they barrel towards the playoffs & breaking up a dark beer roll we’re on.
Looks like a real IPA – copper, clear. Smells like it’s been dipped in pine.
Evil Motives crosses several genres. Dank swampiness up front (just like outside of Beartrap Lake) with a hefty helping of bitterness.
Not much else going on. Fine. Beer.
