Just the slightest of medium to dark khaki colored froth that is quick to fizz away.... Color is a sleek inky black that allows some light to leak in around the edges... Big inviting nose of brownie batter, caramel along with faint hints of coffee and roasted malts... Flavors mirror the nose with the roasted malts dialed up a notch or two I. Terms of intensity... Medium to full bodied... Sleek and smooth with just a touch of carbonation... Very nice and all around enjoyable beer... Can recommend...

16 oz can into a pint glass
Look: almost black with a nice khaki head with decent retention and lacing
Smell: chocolate covered fruit
Taste: Similar to the nose but with a nice roasted taste to it
Feel: full bodied with light carbonation
Overall: Can't lie, I was drawn to the color and artwork on the can, but WOW. This was great. This is everything I like about a porter taken to great quality.

I did not expect this to be this good. I had heard of this local brewer but had not had the pleasure. This is a well crafted Baltic porter.
It pours with a nice big tan head that blossoms a big roasty smell. It is very flavorful with all kinds of roasty malty tastes. This is the easy drinking version of the style but it doesn't wimp out on flavor, it is just less offensive than most of these.
Highly recommended. I hope to try more from this brewery.

16oz can poured into a tulip.
Pours almost black; khaki head that fades leaving okay retention and lacing.
The aromas have a decent amount of chocolate leading the way, especially milk chocolate and chocolate syrup. Hints of vanilla. Malts are there.
The flavors follow the nose, but are bolder. More chocolate leading the way. There's a nice oreo vibe going on. Some dark fruits. Mild coffee. Mild anise and spice in the mix. Moderate to low bitterness. Mild sweetness. Malts do their thing. Alcohol goes unnoticed.
Mouthfeel is full-bodied with moderate to active carbonation. It's sharp, fluffy and smooth.
This is a nice Baltic Porter. It's slightly unique while ultimately staying true to the style. The craftsmanship is on point. It's very enjoyable and fun to drink. Well done.

Dull matte black with a tall dense tan head that retains as a thick creamy blanket very well, leaving a few connected fluid arms of lacing on the glass.
Starting smooth and unassuming with mild bakers chocolate, soon after savory tobacco and lightly woody roast can be found creeping in. Then accents of something like cinnamon bark and maybe licorice develop. All of these things sound typical enough, but in short order they seem to amplify to a clarity of expression that is much more intensely concentrated than I'm used to, without any detectable flaws to boot.
The medium to full body is softly round and fluffy, only at the very end crisping up to a cottony dry swallow where it exhales a bitter char. As it comes to room temp, an herbal quality blooms into a lightly sharp tang I can't quite put my finger on--it makes me think mint, but it's not that either.
In any case, overall, this is amazingly complex and delicious.

From the 12 oz can in a snifter via Bluejacket74----Cheers Dude!
This robust porter pours a dark brownish black with a nice head of
tan foam that settles to a thick ring, thin clumping layer, and shows
some light lacing. Nose of dark cocoa, dark coffee, dark fruit notes
of raspberry and plum, and touches of char. Flavors surpass the nose
with dark cocoa, dark coffee, dark fruited elements of black and raspberry,
char, and faint smoke with deep roasted malts. Nice mouth feel; medium-
full body, medium light carbonation that is lively, and a full, rich, lightly
coating finish that is chocolatey and lightly bitter on the malt side of life.
Overall, a great porter!
It's kinda like a burger---if a brewery can do a staple great, then they can do
other things great-----that said, this is a great "burger" and leaves me thinking they
offer other great provisions!
Cheers

12 ounce can, canned on 04/29/20. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head that stuck around a while. Decent amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like dark fruit (plum, raisin), roasted malt, chocolate and coffee. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but there's also some cherry, toffee and burnt/charred malt flavors noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's slick and smooth with a good amount of carbonation. I liked this Baltic Porter a lot, certainly worth looking out for. It was a pleasant surprise finding this yesterday! $12.99 a six pack.
