A Bavarian-style hefeweizen brewed with Ohio-grown wheat from Haus Malts and hopped with Hüll Melon hops. German yeast creates the typical banana and clove character while the Hüll Melon hops lend bright honeydew and cantaloupe aromas.

Canned on 8/3/20. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy pale yellowish golden; fluffy and creamy eggshell white head that falls slowly leaving great thick retention and sticky lacing. The aromas have some banana, bubblegum and lemon going on. Yeasts and malts are there. The flavors follow the nose. More banana, bubblegum and lemon leading the way. Citrus is there along with some mild tropical notes. Some coconut and pineapple in the mix. Hop flavors are there along with a subtle bitterness, but it's not bitter like an IPA or anything. Yeasts and malts do their thing. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is on the lighter side of medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's extremely fluffy, creamy, slightly sharp, smooth and easy to drink.

This is a really nice wheat beer. It ultimately stays true to what you would expect, but the hops give it some vibrant life. It's very clean and refreshing. The craftsmanship is on point. It's perfect for the hot weather. Well done. I really like it.

Having this beer on-tap at the brewery. Served in a Pilsner/stange style glass, this beer draws a cloudy, hazy, medium golden color with a white head that’s about an inch thick thick when first drawn and served. Settles eventually to a very thick ring lining the inside of the glass along with nice big cluster swirls of surface foam and excellent lacing. Aromas of bready malts and and wheat with nice notes of banana and clove of course. The Hull Melon Hops used here impose some hints of honeydew and cantaloupe melons in both the aroma and the taste. The overall flavor profile is very similar to the aroma, with the aforementioned bready malts and and wheat followed by banana and clove. The melon hop flavors add a nice, unique taste to the flavor profile for this style of of beer. Has a crisp, yet smooth and frothy, medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean, slightly sweet and spicy finish and aftertaste. Easy to drink in the way good beer beer ought to be!
