Having this beer on-tap at the brewery. Served in a Pilsner/stange style glass, this beer draws a fairly cloudy/hazy light golden color with a nice, fluffy looking white head that’s about an inch thick when first drawn and served. Settles eventually to a thick white ring lining the inside of the glass and some small cluster swirls of surface foam along with some decent lacing. Aromas of Some zesty, slightly bready malts along with yeast, berry, and tea notes make for an interesting aroma. The taste is very similar, with some zesty, slightly spicy, fairly bready malts with a bit of sweetness and also a bit of wheat along with the aforementioned berry and tea notes and a hint of yeasty funk. Has a hint of herbal hop bitterness to round out the flavor profile. Has a fairly crisp, yet smooth and frothy medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean, just slightly dry finish and a nice herbal aftertaste. A very interesting beer. I like this one quite a bit.
