A Vienna Lager with a Mexican twist, this easy drinker was brewed with flaked corn and German malts. Aromas of popped corn kernels and toasty malt fade to soft flavors of fresh baked bread and a crisp lager finish. Lagered two months for clarity of flavor.

This lager pours a murky dark amber. A little head after pour, but scant lacing throughout.

Nose is mostly toasty malt with perhaps a waft of caramel. No sweetness in the aroma, but a bit of popped corn in the nose.

Taste follows nose at the malt bill is fine and center without bringing sweetness. A bit of hoppiness on the back end, but nothing extreme. The hop brings a crispness ti the finish. Minor caramel taste again without a sweet flavor. Reminds me a bit of toasted bread. Nice.

Mouthfeel is solid and this lager is a nice crisp clean finishing Vienna.

Dark, clear copper color with tons of carbonation bubbles and light beige foam. Malty corn sweetness and a bit of Vienna hops. Taste is fine but I grew bored of it before the end.

Canned on 1/4/21. 16oz can poured into a tulip. Pours an amber with great clarity and has bubbles racing upwards; fluffy light khaki head that falls very slowly leaving great thick retention and sticky lacing. The aromas are malt forward with lots of toast. Hints of caramel as well. The flavors are pretty clean. More toast along with some grains and fresh bread. More hints of caramel along with some toffee. Subtle bitterness. Low sweetness. Solid malt backbone. Finishes clean and dry. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is very nice. It's sharp, crisp, fluffy, smooth and easy to drink.

This is a really good Vienna Lager. They stay true to the style. It's clean, crisp and refreshing. The craftsmanship is impressive. Well done.

A shimmering perfectly amber body glows under a tall, off-white foam head settling unevenly in bubbly lumps leaving some fine but spongy lacing.

Smell is pleasantly toasty, lightly nutty, and mildly sweet of honey graham.

The medium body has a light but airy froth delivering sweet corn and also corn nuts with toasted wheat bread and again that drizzle of honey. Only a hint of tangy, herbal or woody bitterness is present in this otherwise sweet malt showcase, settling out to a fine, crisply quite dry finish.
