Foggy dark amber with a dense white head that leaves perfect layers of garter lacing after each sip.
Really crisp and tangy, the rye is more prominent here than often found in a helluva lot of beers that aim to feature it. It's got a real salivating quality to it, while supported by hints of toasted corn shells and Brazil nuts.
The contrast from their dark mild I just had is wild. It's one of the most drastic palate shifts I've experienced between one unflavored, clean beer to the next.
It's so good.
