A triple decoction mash accentuates doughy malt flavors in this light lager while providing a crisp and dry finish. Mashed with nothing but an heirloom German pilsner malt, the three decoctions coax out maximum malt flavor while keeping things soft and simple. Cold lagered and almost three months grain to glass.

Chill fogged burnt gold with a creamy white head that builds fairly tall but dissipates quickly while leaving some fluid white spots on the glass.
Crisp yet round, corn nuts meet a touch of white grape countered by a semi-bitter florality.
It's pretty delicious, even standing up to their delicious Roman porkwich.

Poured from a pint can, the body is a pale yellow that is mostly clear. Small initial head retreats to glass edge. Light lacing throughout the tasting.
Aroma of floral hop that also is present in the taste.
Taste is clean with a cracker malt flavor that's a wee bit sweet. Noble hops add a bit of a bite and that nicely balances things. Crisp finish.
Carbonation is medium giving the pale lager a good mouthfeel.
