Clear dark amber to red with absolutely no visible head, while a swirl leaves all kinds of clear legs all over the glass.
Smell features cinnamon, while the slick and sherry-like palate is much boozier, but also a little more caramelly with a hint of banana bread.
Heady af, and very unstylistic, it's kind of like an uncarbonated Belgian strong or something.
The attempts that Noble Beast have made at this style over the years kind of remind me of Avery, as well as some of those Italian takes from Birra Baladin. I don't particularly enjoy them, and it really almost seems like they're aiming for something along the lines of Utopais, but if so, the viscosity isn't quite there, though the booze certainly is close.

This beer is aged in Cleveland Whiskey bourbon barrels. Having this on top of the brewery. Served in a tulip glass, this beer draws a dark, clear copper/light brown color with a slightly off-white head that settles very quickly to a thick ring lining the inside of the glass at the beers surface. Aromas of strong, sweet malts, booze, and woody bourbon notes. None of this of course is any surprise. Flavors of malty caramel and bready, malty sweetness, a bit of butter scotch, woody bourbon sweetness, and booze are all found in the flavor profile. No discernible hop presence here. Has a clean finish and the sweet flavors linger nicely for the aftertaste. A good representation of this style. This beer is very young right now though. It would be nice to drink this after it’s been aged for a while.
