A dark lager, robust in character but light in body. Rich malt flavors of dark chocolate, bread crust, cola, and light coffee roast fill the palate and belie its sessionable strength.

16 ounce can, canned on 11/04/24, thanks to Brutaltruth for this one! Served in a pint glass, the beer pours dark brown with about an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. The brew smells like toasted malt, coffee, herbalness and some chocolate. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but with the addition of some breadiness. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. Nice easy drinking brew, wouldn't mind trying this one again in the future!

From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This solid schwarzbier pours a dark
brwon with mahogany highlights and a decent head of khaki foam that
settles to a thick ring, thin clumping layer, and sports some nice lacing.
Nose of toasted malts, herbal hop nuances, and light chocolate. Flavors
hit the mark with chocolate, faint coffee, light grassy and herbal hop notes,
and nicely toasted malts. Mouth feel is medium, medium light carbonation
that has nice lift, and finishing moderately clean and roasted with a subtly dry
finish.
Overall, a stunner for the style!
Cheers

Dark brown, actually fairly clear, under a short khaki head.
Tangy, leafy, roasty, a tasty quaffer, it's light body is lifted by a pleasant froth before a cleanly semi-dry finish.
