Last show Cleveland tonight on the heels of a long day that started with a drive up from Cincy this morning to meet up with the talls after 5 days of pregaming this annual beer & baseball trip. Post horrific hotel drop and now this 4th and last brewery in, or out, as will be in an hour’s time at closing. Sweet slander spot obtained right out front at a quarter to 10, Tuesday night, uh huh…
‘L’ shaped steel panel topped bar to one side, with a mesh panel base & foot ledge. Seating for 18 on green metal chairs. 12 tap non-descript block handled tower on the cold room wall barback with colored letter magnets over them. Draft selections printed above on horizontal slat boards (beer, style, ABV, IBU, & serving size) chalked. Glassware shelved to both sides, and a crowl crimper alongside. Wooden blocks displaying the # of Instagram & Facebook likes. Merch & random bobbleheads, and flats on the ends for US Open Tennisness. Gold trim banners running atop listing medals won at different events (GABF, Fat Head’s IPA Fest, King of Ohio, Oktoberfest).
Brick walls with roll up and panel windows forward. Concrete floors for the walking on. Wood rafter & plank ceiling over I-beams, with ductwork, a large spinny fan, & mad sprawling viney plantings dangling from skylight bordered planters. Alt height drop filament pear bulbs tracing the bar, track spots, & strung bulbings up to the rear. They’ve got a little corner kitchen down past the bar that we are too late to be looking in on. Food specials listed on a pull down roll of butcher paper to one side of it below a from the ceiling suspended motorcycle.
A dozen and a half tables picnic, shared, hightop, and spur wrapping the front, adjacent to the bar, upstairs in that little raised area, and out back of the slight space brewery to one side penned, plastered with brewery stickers. Barrels racked in the front corner, and a Foeder trio stack on their sides up there, too. Art from the kid who does their label artwork. It’s some good stuff.
10 beers up just now. Half of them hoppys (Easy Easy, Single Hopped Pale Ale - Chinook, 5.6%; Slabtown, West Coast IPA, 6.5%; Evil Motives, West Coast IPA, 7.2%; Rhymenocerous, New Zealand IPA, 6.6%; Big Feelings 3, Hazy IPA, 6.2%), and the other half a mix of Lager (Union Pils Bohemian Lager, Czech Pilsner, 4.9%; Pappy’s Pilsner, German Pilsner, 5.2%), Belgian styles (It’s Giving, Farmhouse Saison, 4.4%; War Canary, Witbier, 5.1%), and this (DJ Grape Frewt, Oak Aged Sour, 3.4%).
We were a little foggy at this point of the evening, but I got into a few of ‘em (Union Pils Bohemian Lager, bready, floral, pleasant; Slabtown West Coast IPA, resin, citrus, solid, a welcome West Coast; It’s Giving Farmhouse Saison, light, crisp, peppery, Belgian spice nice).
Cool little place, would have liked to have gotten further in on the list as they do 2 West Coast IPAs and a New Zealand IPA, too. I could do some time here.

Pleasant, open, industrial brick building with a high ceiling with exposed wooden beams. The entry has a long bar with tons of high chairs and a row tables behind it; a half-staircase leads to another section with more tables and a patio area. The quality of the beers I tried was above average. Selection had a decent number of styles represented, though there were only 12 beers on tap, and not much in the way of stouts. Service was good and food was solid.

a smaller downtown spot, but also homey and some very nice beers. Outstanding pricey barleywine was the clear winner, but I also got a very drinkable NEIPA.

This looks like it is in a former garage with 20-foot ceilings and a raw industrial look. There are several holding barrels in the front while the brewery itself is on the left side as you walk in.
The service is attentive and pleasant. The food is pub grub with a slight twist.
Three beers are very good with 11 different offerings on tap. I had several people from a different brew pub recommend this place for their western style IPA. There are several banners from the awards it has received.

Mid sized box of a place, with an old school industrial vibe, rightfully feels like you are having a few beers and tasty food in an older and slightly musty and dusty brewery.... place is oozing with atmosphere, and culture/character...mighty fine place for brews and a tasty bite...if local or passing thru...this place is worth a visit...just a few minutes walk/very short drive to the Rock and Roll HOF.

First night in Cleveland, Noble Beast was a solid choice. Laid back DIY vibe, a forklift parked next to some tables in the taproom, long bar on the right and a mezzanine level in back. Good music on the speakers, classic New Order and Pixies. A fairly eclectic crowd, some obvious regulars and other first-timer tourists like us.
Service at the bar was great, the people seemed genuine and were very helpful. They asked how the food and beer was and cared about the feedback. They kept beers full despite the busy crowd.
Selection was good, I was hoping to try their GABF-medaled baltic porter, but it had kicked and they were currently brewing a new batch. Lagers and continental styles were great. The Evil Motives IPA was great, though their haze needed work. Nice eclectic mix of styles.
The food was good, pub grub with creative twists. Pretzel and obatzda were calling my name, they were very tasty.
I’d return here again in a heartbeat. Cool place with good beers.

Nice industrial spot, close to downtown. Really solid beers. Laid back vibes. The beer was really the star. Very good black IPA. Those can be tricky. They were brewing while I was there, which is always cool to see.

Very nice place in an old converted industrial garage with a nice long bar and a couple levels of tables. Interesting variety of beers with plenty of novel flavorings. Run by a Grove City College couple so a perfect visit by a GCC alum. Too bad I am about an hour away.

Place was nicely crowded on a Saturday afternoon; not sure if it's a regular crowd or stopping in before an Indians game. Bar people were friendly and helpful. Had a good time.

Very cool place, with great service. Beer selection is sort of weird. A Kolsch, an Alt Bier, a Bitter on nitro and a hoppy lager is just an odd selection of beers.. especially when that’s 50% of your selection. I had a tripel and a TIPA, and both were tasty, but seemed to have an identity crisis. The TIPA was described as NE style, but was barely translucent, bordering on transparent. It seemed to lack the punch of NE style beers, but the color was just very off. Definitely enjoyable (got 2, in fact), but I think they are overfiltering their beers. It’s my preference to see some rawness in these nanobatch facilities.

I've been here a couple of times now when visiting Cleveland.
Cozy, down-to-earth. Very popular. Good food. Somewhat chaotic. Not always easy to get service.
I always come away somewhat disappointed in the beer. Wish they had something stronger, more extreme.

While it looks small from the outside, it opens to a spacious interior with a long bar and plenty of picnic seats right in front of the modest brew production equipment. There's also an open kitchen at the end of the bar that's putting out nice plates of food. There are two TV screens that are small and in the corners of the bar, allowing for more emphasis to be put on the company you're in.
The beer list is small, but has a good range of styles, most of which are well made. The sour was a little heavy handed on the pitch but was still drinkable, and the Saison was very Belgian phenol forward, while the fresh hop IPA nailed the dankness. I'd happily come back.
The beer list has gotten larger with more variety since I last visited in my review above, and the beer itself has gotten more refined and dialed in, so I'm increasing my score.
