Deep burgundy color under a firm beige head that lingers long and leaves lovely sheets of lace. There is a nice malty nose and a very prickly mouthfeel dominated by malt sweetness. The initial taste follows through on the malt introduction, but that is chased by a sour, citrusy (but not unpleasant) finish. There is a bit of hops here, but could be more. Certainly a drinkable brew.
