They served this pilsner in a round ale mug with a handle, despite the fact that several other beers were served in pilsner glasses. Oh well. It came out a lovely deep clear gold, topped by a firm (but not contoured) white head. The nose was mildly malty, whereas the mouth was crisp, slightly light and not too prickly. The initial taste is mild malt, but the hops come in pretty quickly, leaving a nice bite in the finish. Not much flower here, though. The bite is crisp, clean and bitter. Those hops linger in a nice brisk aftertaste that makes you want more. Very drinkable brew.
