Durdin's first seasonal, and not a bad effort at that. Comes in a globular windowed handled mug. Cloudy yellow gold with a two fingered creamy head that sticks around and leaves some nice lace rings. The nose is sweet, but understated. The mouth is quite well carbonated, sticky and a bit heavy. The opening taste is syrupy sweet, with sugar and a touch of spice. This is followed by a bit of an abrupt hoppy bite, not quite what a typical bock should have, but crisp and quasi-harsh nonetheless. This is not spectacular, but they get an A for effort and highest encouragement to continue experimenting!
