Durdin's "Easter Beer" was supposedly even blessed by some Russian Orthodox priest before the kegs were tapped on Easter Sunday. They only brewed 1000 liters of this fine stuff, but hope springs eternal that the Easter Bunny will bring it back again next year.
Comes out a cloudy copper hue under a 1.5 finger off white head that settles quickly, but then lingers long, leaving a touch of lace in the globular mug. The nose is full of cinnamon - just like cinnamon toast. The mouth is lightly carbonated and light-bodied. There's lots of cinnamon and other spices to support the smooth malt in the opening. The finish is pretty hoppy, leaving an aftertaste that combines quite nicely the sweet cinnamon and the bitter hops. Pretty nice brew.
