Sampled at Durdin's Polyanka outlet, this new addition to the line-up comes out looking magnificent. The liquid is cloudy orangish-red under a two finger creamy light beige head with excellent retention but leaving just a few strands of lace. The nose is mild to the verge of non-existence, with just the slightest shimmer of fruity malt. As it warms, the nose gets stronger and sweeter, with an emphasis on the fruit. The mouth is fairly light and quite prickly - too light and too prickly for the style. The taste opens with sweet fruity syrup reminiscent of a plum. There are very little hops to back this up, with just a hint of dryness well into the finish. The overall impression is very smooth, pleasant to consume, but it lacks character. A solid but unspectacular brew.
