Welcome to the Neighborhood. This hoppy beer is bright, citrusy, and floral. It's sessionable, approachable, yet full-flavored with a vibrant aroma. It's everything we think a Pale should be.

Poured from 16oz can into my BeerAdvocate teku. Canned 10/22/20. The beer is called Neighborhood, but the can calls this a "California Pale Ale" and the label has this version at 6% ABV.
Appearance: light to medium golden hue with a touch of haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop. Looks good to me.
Smell: a lightly sweet malt base with earthy, fruity hops atop. It's a perfectly reasonable pale ale, but to me there's not a lot exciting going on here.
Taste: the malt is quite light up front, with a bit of sweetness coming out on the finish. The hops are a bit fruity and citrusy in nature; not quite as earthy has the aroma suggested. Bitterness is low-to-medium; a totally serviceable pale ale.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: this is a totally reasonable pale ale, and I could see drinking it if I were at the taproom -- but I'm not likely to seek it out otherwise.

An amazing pale ale, well balanced and bright with citrusy woodsy tasting notes
