Got this from a friend. Haven’t had much of anything from Ventura Coast, so looking forward to trying a wild from them.
Pours a deep purple, like blueberry juice. Pink frothy head, thin dissipating lace.
Super tart and fruity. Great aromas, bursting with boysenberries and jammy raspberries. Fruit juice.
Super tart and sour hits you right away , a real lip smacker! It dissipates quickly, though, and you really get all those great fruit berry flavors.
The body on this has a good weight, with low, effervescent carb, just what you want from the style. It is, however, very acidic, and has that stinging acidy burn in the finish, like something you’d get when drinking Kombucha or one of those apple cider vinegar probiotics.
