Picked this up not too long ago at the brewery, as I was passing through on my way to Los Angeles. Loved the vibe there and I enjoyed this too, as it was a nicely crafted beer with plenty going for it from start to finish!
Plenty of haze and suds to this as the ripeness was also in full swing. Quite a murky and muddy brown, this was different than I expected in appearance although it still had plenty of full head to top it off. A few thin rings of wavy lacing remained once the suds subsided, as there was lots of dank hops, tangerine pith, and turbid pineapple in the nose as dewy forest, a bit of weed, and a bit of fruit cocktail emerged in the taste. A bit of hop burn from the sediment was in the back, although this seemed to be relatively new based on the beer's information on Instagram.
A nice feeling of Hawaiian Punch settled and sticky tropical fruit settled on the palate once the liquid went down, as this was quite cloudy on the bottom. No date was on the can and this had a nice mouthfeel, carbonation, and balance for the style. Love the can art and my time at the brewery, as this was a lovely beer to remind me of the vibes of Southern California!
