A fun new gorilla themed IPA. Love the can art. The flowers are definitely a poignant choice, considering the floral profile of the hops.
Pours a transparent copper amber color with a fine cream head. Lots of attractive and floral looking lacing.
Aromas of bergamot, juniper and clean pine dance vibrantly under the nose. A hint of jasmine flutters past like a butterfly. An earthy, grassy aroma like fresh wheat fills the spaces between, with fresh hints of key lime, pink lady apple, jicama and white grape.
Literally like drinking iced tea in a meadow. The clean earthy taste of this is so comforting to me. It's very delicate and nuanced. Not overpowering herbal or dank, just floral and lightly fruity, and not particularly citrusy.
The mouthfeel is super light and dry in an almost fluffy way. Excellent carbonation level. The bubbles are so soft. Not too much bite in this one. Downright crushable, once you get a taste for the hops.
It's strong, but gentle, like a gorilla drinking tea and smelling flowers.
