Amber hued with excellent clarity. There’s a half inch of of creamy beige on top. Heavy rings of foam in the glass. Aroma is of caramel and and toasted nuts. I taste toasted nuts, caramel, bready malt. The mouth is creamy and smooth. I suspect this draft version is on nitro.

On tap. Poured out a clear amber color with golden highlights and a small, white head of foam. It smelled of caramel and roasted malt. Strong caramel sweetness with some roasted notes and a mild bitterness.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear dark copper color with a nice head. Aroma of malt sweetness, grain and hint of fruit. Taste of malt sweetness, caramel, rye and bit of spice. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Moderate body, clean with a nice malty character. Quite tasty.
