16oz can pours a very deep and nearly opaque brown-black color with a small cap of light brown head. Smells of dark roasted malts and a dusty, stale peanut aroma. Robust flavor of dark roasted and burnt malts followed by a very gross and overbearing peanut flavor that honestly tastes extremely artificial. The peanut flavor really does not taste like peanut butter at all; more like dry dust and flakes at the bottom of a bag of peanuts. A moderate bitterness follows the peanut flavor and the aftertaste has elements of both as well as a unpleasant acidic edge. Medium body with a creamy texture and mild carbonation mouthfeel.

This was awful.

16oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of bubbly foam. It left sticky rings of lace on the glass. It smelled of creamy, rich peanut butter, caramel and dark chocolate. Sweet, creamy peanut butter taste with bittersweet chocolate and toffee flavors.
