Have you ever enjoyed a song even if you don't like the genre? Have you ever enjoyed a beer even if you don't like the style? This one is for you. Semi-sweet amber ale with a healthy dose of rye malt. Toasted bread, a hint of caramel and a nice spicy finish make this beer suitable for any beer drinker.

16oz can. No dating information found.
Clear, deep amber colored body.Thin, but lasting, off white colored head. Leaves behind a few short lacing strings.
Aroma is lightly roasted malt, caramel, and perfume/floral/fruity hops.
Taste is long lastingly sweet with lightly roasted biscuit malt and correspondingly sweet floral hops. Flavors of caramel, roses, cherry stone fruit, and spicy rye. Much the same extends into the aftertaste. Spicy but the bitterness level stays low.
Medium mouthfeel. Smooth texture, with a crisp finish. Spicy layer melds with the sweet caramel. Good carbonation.
A pleasant sweeter ale with caramel and rye.

From a tall can picked up from the brewery. This beer is a dark amber color with a thick, rocky head. The aroma has a malt and light caramel note. Bread and modest sweetness are present in the taste. The body is full and satisfying. I like a good amber ale...a style that isn't brewed much anymore.

Amber hued with a fingernail of beige around the rim and covering nearly all of the top. There’s a light haziness in the body. The aroma is of biscuit malt and caramel. I’m tasting lots of biscuity, crackery, and a touch of caramel malt. The mouth is inviting and refreshing.

16 oz can pours a typical orangey-amber red color some sandy khaki-colored head that retreats to a thin ring around the edge. Smell is very strong of toasty grains, with some earthy and slightly sweet fruity notes, too. Taste is that classic toasty biscuity malt with plenty of those nice caramel flavors without being overly sweet. Closes out with the right amount of hop bitterness that stays maybe a little too long. Feel is smooth with a well-distributed carbonation.
Pretty good beer, would buy again.
