Re-named as a tropical pale, poured into a tulip.
Look: Ambery gold, about 1cm of bubbly white head which quickly subsides to a thin film. Looks okay.
Smell: Slightly hoppy, a little citrus, some tropical fruit, a touch of grainy malt as well.
Taste: Touch of hop upfront, again, a little tropical fruit but I can't pick out anything specifically. A little malt in there too. pleasant if a little one note.
Feel: I found this one a little lighter, almost watery at times. A slight tickle of carbonation at the back of the palate, and a slightly bitter finish.
Overall: It's okay.

way better than its ratings, this is a great summer ale, dry hoppy but clean, more robust and beer nerdy than most of these ever are, its non generic but should have wide appeal, a really nice summer brew overall, and the first i have had from these guys since i lived there. its crystal clear, shiny brassy golden in color and with a rising white head and nice lather to it. it smells oddly hoppy, not surprisingly southern hemisphere and fruity, white grape and apple, but subtle, not irrelevant pale barley malt too, and a touch of honey sweetness to it. the flavor is just as good, hoppy but without any bitterness, cut flowers, even dandelion to me, a little lemon and melon, but also a nice balance from the pale malt and a crispness almost like a lager, although there is no taste contributed by the yeast. amazingly refreshing and drinkable, light but anything but boring with these hops, awesome carbonation, still tastes really fresh despite the long journey, and overall an excellent beer that i wish i had a dozed of to drink on this sunny saturday afternoon! a little different, really good, woefully underrated here...

The Swindler Summer is a good beer....I'm trying it at the generous squire in perth. It poured a clear golden with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had waifs of biscuit. The taste is nicely balanced with hints of lemon and bread. The Mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a solid beer...easy to session.

From bottle, pours a clear golden colour with a small white head. Aroma has sweet grainy malts, pineapple, pear, tropical. Taste malt, lemon, grass, citrus. Very sessionable.
