no surprise this has been superceded by the much better colonial wheat, as this beer is lacking alround. it seems to me that they threw this together without much thought just to get a wheat beer in the range.
very light in color and looks weak, pathetic head for a wit, just nothing forthcoming. smelled very sweet, and barely floral, not a lot in the fruit department like youd expect from the style. flavor was again very sweet, some citrus, but lacked any real hop character or bitter counterpoint to go with the sweetness. fairly thin for a beer that tastes like this, not enuff fizz and failed to have the fresh finish needed.
you dont see this around much anymore and i dont think its a beer that will be missed too much if it doesnt continue. the colonial wheat, while still having its faults, is a far superior beer to this one.

Its ok, but i'd rather drink hoegaarden, this was a bit thin and didn't have enough flavour, i can't give this a high score.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
