Taster at MV taproom. Near black pour, spotty beige head. Light roasty aroma with light floral notes. Taste is roasty and nutty and again has faint floral elements. Mildly sweet, not that bitter.

I am trying this beer off the tapper at the Pub on Main location in Twin Falls, Idaho as part of a four sample flight. It poured a nearly opaque dark amber with tan head which left a spotty lace. The beer was nicely balanced and easy to drink. I was hoping for more pine and citrus hop....but seemed more a true black ale than a black IPA. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.
