This one-time beer was brewed to commemorate 10 years of the now famous Empório Alto dos Pinheiros being open (and the owner's name is Paulo). While it doesn't knock off Pliny the Younger, it does do a fine job of getting Brazil recognized into the Triple IPA category, as it's plenty hoppy without going into barleywine territory, maintains a full bodied feel that hides the alcohol very well. I must be the one of the few people on earth to try both Pliny and Paulo.
