Who knew that Cheeky's first flight would be straight into the endless expanse of space?! This journey has lead him to the depths of the galaxy of sour IPAs! Brewed with milk sugar, dry hopped with Ekuanot and Citra, and conditioned on passionfruit, guava, and pineapple; we created a beer that is TRULY OUT OF THIS WORLD. Ha ha! Get it? Yep, we went there.

On tap at Green Cheek, Orange, CA.

A Sour IPA, ok... Kind of weird, ya know? Like when the carpet doesn’t match the drapes, I don’t know what to make of it. Sure, it’s all kinds of glorious hoppy, but again, it’s tart and puckering like the girl at the kissing booth you aren’t sure is worth a dollar. All that being said, it’s clean, it’s smooth, and it’s quality because it’s Green Cheek.

A: Lots of tropical fruit with ample guava, mango, and pineapple, coupled with hop aromas of tropical fruit, slight sweetness, followed by a light tartness.

A: Light orange color, opaque, with an thin, uneven, white head that quickly dissipates into the glass.

T: Hoppy tropical fruit flavors, followed by moderate guava, pineapple and light mango. Lightly sweet, with moderate hop bitterness, followed by a lacto tartness through the finish.

M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. The milk sugar gives the beer added body without heaviness.

O: Solid; the beer has great tropical fruit character and is well supported by the hop profile. The beer could be even better with a bit less plith/hop bitterness.
