Appearance: Pretty typical imperial stout appearance: pitch black with a thin khaki head.
Aroma: Whoa! Okay.. banana banana banana. That's insane how much it comes through on the nose. The vanilla also shows up.
Taste. Whoa again! This is my first banana adjunct stout, and it delivers. I get rich banana pudding, vanilla, cocoa, ice cream. Even some prunes or dates. Wow. It's sweet but balanced. Honestly it's like a chocolate-banana milkshake.
Palate/Finish: Sooo thick and syrupy yet smooth. Love the mouth feel here considering the style. Finishes with banana and vanilla.
Overall: Damn. This is well-done! I've been waiting for a banana adjunct stout and I'm so glad this is the one that found me. It's literally like drinking a banana-chocolate-vanilla milkshake, or like eating banana pudding. If you like stouts, sweets, and banana, you must try this.
