Appearance: Cloudy straw-yellow color with generous-sized, foamy, white head that slowly faded. A nice looking NE IPA.
Smell: Moderate pineapple and citrus aromas. The nose is good though somewhat restrained.
Taste: The pineapple notes from the nose and some tropical fruit notes feature prominently in the flavor profile. The beer, true to the NE style, has a fairly mild bitter hop backbone. The beer manages to finish fairly dry ending with some fruit notes that transitions to some mild bitter hop notes.
Mouth-feel: Fairly light-bodied with a fairly generous level of carbonation. Fitting mouthfeel.
Overall: A good NE style IPA. The beer has a solid flavor profile.
