I truly don’t know what to make of this beer. From the start, I imaged that a copper colored liquid was going to pour out. Instead, I was greeted with Socal beach bunny blonde.
Moving along…
I love good English Ales. You know, something that isn’t supposed to hit you hard over the head like the Mrs. does after you are an hour late after “bowling.” A good Ale is about dignity and restraint. More like going out with the boys to bird watch and then have cucumber sandies with tea acter.
Ok, let’s move along though…
Green Cheek... Here I am with this blonde, Yorkshire-Style Cask Pale Ale that was brewed in Costa Mesa, California. And even though it doesn’t make me feel like I just had a twirl with Kate Beckinsale, it’s still pretty solid. It’s light, soft, and has balance like a cat that still has 9 lives. It’s nothing great, but damn good is still pretty cool in Raul’s book.
Play nice, my minions.
